Should we try this again?

We ran a small midnight Tourney on Friday, September 22nd to see how well it would go, and the attendees had a blast. Videos are over on our youtube channel, thanks to Jess for recording them! May have to put up a poll to see if we have enough interest to make another (post-covid) run at this.

Last tourney for a bit is starting soon!

Well, I put it off but it looks like Fortnite has custom match options and could be a tournament game for us.
I'm downloading Fortnite now, and will look into it.
I might be adding Fortnite to our games list for September!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came to our tournament today! We raised just over $400, not bad at all!
We had a great time playing Mortal Kombat, but now it's off the polls for next month. I'm looking forward to trying out new games, and a new system in June!
Now for the bad news, unfortunatly, it's really looking like the cameras we have for the tournaments aren't going to be good enough for what we need them to do.

Meeting with The Cove Youth Center went phenomenally!
Pending decisions from their board, Kombat for a Kause may be running kids tournaments starting in June!
There's still a lot to do and decide before anything is certain but it's looking good!

Bracket idea

So I have an idea on how to let everyone in on seeing the bracket.
Host one online!
I'll have to test it, but I believe I can make an online bracket and create a link, post it to this very site, and everyone should be able to see it on their phones!
I'll test it at some point in the coming weeks.

Website update

Over the weekend I plan to add a page (under Kontent) that lists all the charities in the rotation, with information about that charity and probably links to their website if applicable.
Not everyone knows what SAS is after all (I didn't until B.J. Armani introduced me to them. They work hard for people with disabilities)
So that should help people with the selection process.
If you know of a local charity please take to the forums and let me know! Always on the lookout for ways we can help.

Jalen was the first member of Kombat for a Kause!
Jeremy created the website, which will be integral to the longevity to the Kause.
His kind heartedness and tech knowledge have already been so valuable to achieving this goal, and I'm certain he will be a major part in our future success as well.

Alicianissen has joined the Kause!
Alicia has extensive knowledge from working at the thief river food bank, and her expertise will be an incredible boon to the Kommunity!
I don't know if I would've gotten even this far without her, and I expect to be calling on her knowledge for months to come.

We have our third member!

Welcome Tophgod to Kombat for a Kause!
Topher is willing to donate his ps4 to the Kause every month, so we couldn't be successful without him! His support for my ideas is second to none and I don't know what I'd do without him.
