Collection of what's needed to get everything up and running smooth
A Venue!Obviously this is priority number one. I have some promising leads, the Eagles club is looking particularly ideal. I'm always willing to hear suggestions for other locations though! There may be months where the Eagles Club isn't available, so backups would be great to have.
Video equipment!
For the size of tournaments I'm trying to run (40+ teams) we probably should use projectors as they're portable and can make an image big enough for everyone to see. I'll also need projector screens, big ones. I bought a projector and will have to test it at the Eagles to see if it's bright enough (it was pretty cheap) so if anyone knows where I could get a high quality projector for cheap I'd love to hear it! I'm on the fence on whether to use donated funds on equipment or if I should just be buying it all myself. If you have thoughts on that, I'm willing to hear that as well.
Sound!
Projectors, even expensive ones have crappy stereo sound. So we'll need something else. Surround sound is kind of not workable since:
- The amount of set up time for surround sound would make setting up, and tearing down much more of an ordeal, and
- We'll be running 2 games at a time to cut down on tournament time. 78 matches would last AGES otherwise.
Word of mouth!
The more people hear about us, the quicker I can fill out the tournament, which would be a lot less stress for me. Also, more people means more ideas, more ideas means a greater chance of success! Heck, if theres enough people interested every month, I may even look to expand to 60, or even 80 team tournaments! (which would mean needing more equipment, and possibly a new venue, but the Eagles is pretty big.)
A new logo!
If you have aspirations of graphic design, I'd like to comission a logo from you, I'd pay for your effort! Just hit me up with an email or direct message on here for details!
Your support!
I don't want this project to fail, but I can't do it on my own. I need people to go to the tournaments, even if you can't or won't pay the entry fee, you can come to spectate! The more excitement thats generated around this fundraiser, the more likely it is to succeed! Come on down to a tournament! Cheer loud! Get excited!

Ok, I've got projectors and screens now.
Mid range units, 100".
If everything is super successful I can upgrade someday.

Alright, got it all now. But we will always need word of mouth to stay up, and to hopefully one day grow!
